  • September, 1998. NIST grant made to Rutgers U. (PI K. Breslauer) to develop a data dictionary for calorimetric characterization of molecular recognition.
  • February, 1998. Formation of Calorimetry Data Working Group. The initial group consists of Dani Pilch (University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey), Eric Plum (Rutgers), John Westbrook (Rutgers U.) and Mike Gilson (CARB/NIST). The Rutgers members are meeting regularly to develop data definitions for isothermal titration calorimetry experiments, with the goal of developing a full draft in Fall, 1998. The draft will then be reviewed by other calorimetrists and revised accordingly.
