| Description: | MAO A activities were determined spectrophotometrically at 316 nm using kynuramine as substrate. Competitive Ki values were determined by measuring initial rates of substrate oxidation in the presence of varying concentrations of inhibitor. Apparent Km values for each inhibitor concentration (slopes of double reciprocal plots) were plotted as a function of inhibitor concentration, and the Ki values were determined. |
