| Description: | Collagenase H Assay as a Surrogate for ColA Inhibition. Different concentrations of test compound were incubated with Clostridium histolyticum collagenase H (ColH) and fluorescein-labeled DQ-gelatin conjugate (both are components of EnzCheck Gelatinase/Collagenase Assay Kit, ThermoFisher E12055) at 37° C. for 2 hours. ColH has similar activity to ColA. The fluorescence signal was determined by a plate reader and level of inhibition calculated. |
