| Description: | The in vitro effects of the selected compounds on the hERG (human ether- -go-go-related gene) potassium channel current (a surrogate for IKr, the rapidly activating, delayed rectifier cardiac potassium current) expressed in mammalian cells were evaluated at room temperature using the PatchXpress 7000A (Molecular Devices), an automatic parallel patch clamp system. Each compound was evaluated at varying concentrations in duplicate up to 10 μM, and the duration of exposure to each test article concentration was 5 minutes. |
