| Description: | Inhibition of human recombinant active p38alpha MAP kinase was tested by measuring the incorporation of 33P from gamma-[33P] ATP into myelin basic protein (MBP). The assay was performed in a 96-well microtiter plate. The incorporated radioactivity was measured in a Packard Topcount microplate scintillation counter. The 50% inhibitory value was calculated by fitting the data to the equation: fractional activity = 1/[I]/IC50 + 1. |
