| Description: | The activity of the compounds is determined by measuring the inhibitory effect of the compounds in the direction of glycogen synthesis, the conversion of glucose-1-phosphate into glycogen with the release of inorganic phosphate, which was monitored using microplate reader (BIO-RAD). The phosphate absorbance was measured at 655 nm. The IC50 values were estimated by fitting the inhibition data to a dose dependent curve using a logistic derivative equation. |
