| Description: | In the binding assays, the results were expressed as percent inhibition of the control radioligand specific binding. The IC50 values (concentration causing a half maximal inhibition of control specific binding) were determined by non-linear regression analysis of the competition curves using Hill equation curve fitting. The inhibition constants (Ki) were calculated from the Cheng Prusoff equation. EC50 values measure the receptor agonist activities functionally using a quantitative ex vivo guinea pig trachea bioassay. |
