| Description: | A radioligand-binding assay was developed using scintillation proximity assay (SPA) technology. The wheat germ agglutinin SPA beads (Amersham) (0.2 mg/mL) coated with Jurkat cell membranes were incubated with [125I]-labeled ligand in the absence or presence of increasing concentrations of test compound. The assay reagents were incubated for 18 h at room temperature and radioactivity bound to the membrane-coated beads was determined using a Topcount scintillation counter (Perkin Elmer). |
