| Description: | The inhibitory activity of a compound toward EcMAP was measured by incubating the compound at various concentrations in the presence of the enzyme and the peptide substrate MGMM. Activity can be determined based on the amount of GMM produced or the amount of MGMM consumed. The integrated area of the tripeptide or tetrapeptide peak was compared to a calibration curve generated by running HPLC chromatograms of known concentrations of the polypeptides. |
