| Description: | After equilibrating the plates and reagents, 140 μl of the supernatant was transferred to a new plate using multichannel pipette. 10 μl of 6.1N trichloroacetic acid was added into each well, and the plate was mixed using a plate shaker at 300-500 rpm for 30 seconds. The plate was then incubated at 60° C. for 30 minutes. The plates were then centrifuged for 10 minutes at 2000 rpm. 100 μl of the supernatant was then transferred to another 96-well plate (corning-3599). To each well of the plate was added 100 μl of 2% (w/v) 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in acetic acid. Optical density values were then measured by Envision at 480 nm. |
