| Description: | In some embodiments, the method of treating a depressive disorder, e.g., major depressive disorder, provides a therapeutic effect (e.g., as measured by reduction in the HAM-D score) within 14, 10, 4, 3, 2, or 1 days, or 24, 20, 16, 12, 10, or 8 hours or less. In some embodiments, the method of treating the depressive disorder, e.g., major depressive disorder, provides a therapeutic effect (e.g., as determined by a statistically significant reduction in HAM-D total score) within the first or second day of the treatment with a composition described herein. In some embodiments, the method of treating the depressive disorder, e.g., major depressive disorder, provides a therapeutic effect (e.g., as determined by a statistically significant reduction in HAM-D total score) within less than or equal to 14 days since the beginning of the treatment with a composition described herein. In some embodiments, the method of treating the depressive disorder, e.g., major depressive disorder, provides a therapeutic effect (e.g., as determined by a statistically significant reduction in HAM-D total score) within less than or equal to 21 days since the beginning of the treatment with a composition described herein. In some embodiments, the method of treating the depressive disorder, e.g., major depressive disorder, provides a therapeutic effect (e.g., as determined by a statistically significant reduction in HAM-D total score) within less than or equal to 28 days since the beginning of the treatment with a compound or composition disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the therapeutic effect is a decrease from baseline in HAM-D total score after treatment with a compound or composition disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the HAM-D total score of the subject before treatment with a compound or composition disclosed herein is at least 24. In some embodiments, the HAM-D total score of the subject before treatment with a compound or composition disclosed herein is at least 18. In some embodiments, the HAM-D total score of the subject before treatment with a compound or composition disclosed herein is between and including 14 and 18. In some embodiments, the decrease in HAM-D total score after treating the subject with a compound or composition disclosed herein relative to the baseline HAM-D total score is at least 10. In some embodiments, the decrease in HAM-D total score after treating the subject with a compound or composition disclosed herein relative to the baseline HAM-D total score is at least 15. In some embodiments, the HAM-D total score associated with treating the subject with a compound or composition disclosed herein is no more than a number ranging from 6 to 8. In some embodiments, the HAM-D total score associated with treating the subject with a compound or composition disclosed herein is no more than 7. |
