| Description: | The reactions were performed in 96-well Packard 384-well Packard Optiplates. After 10 min of incubation, the reaction was stopped by addition of a continuously shaken suspension of YSi SPA beads at pH 2. Under acidic conditions, SPA beads bind tRNA aggregates, while radiolabeled amino acid substrate remains in solution. The beads were allowed to settle for at least 45 min and the plates were counted in a microplate scintillation counter TopCount (Packard). |
