| Description: | The samples were assayed in a solution composed of PDE4, [3H]cAMP/cAMP, and test compounds. To convert AMP to adenosine, snake venom was added to each sample after reactions were stopped. The reaction products were separated by anion-exchange chromatography performed on AGl-X8 resin, and the amount of unbound [3H] adenosine was collected and quantified by scintillation counting. |
