| Description: | Time-dependent optical density change was followed at 405 nm using a kinetic microplate reader at room temperature. Enzyme activity in the presence of inhibitor was expressed as fraction of a DMSO control and curve fit to the equation: activity= control activity / (1 + [I]/ IC50) using Excel Fit. The IC50 value is that concentration causing half maximal inhibition. |
