| Description: | The reaction mixture contained 160 uL of reaction buffer [50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 100 mM NaCl, 5 ug/mL bovine serum albumin (BSA), 5 uM CaCl2, and 10 mM anilinonaphthalene sulfonate (ANS)], 20 uL of substrate stock solution (2 mM DMPC), and 2 mM of sodium deoxycholate in water. After 5 min of sonication, 10 uL of inhibitor stock solution (in DMSO) were incubated at 28 uC for 10 min. The reactions were started by adding 10 uL of hnps-PLA2 stock solution (0.1 mg/mL) and monitored by excitation at 377 nm and emission at 470 nm. |
