| Description: | The enzyme assay was based on the estimation of p-nitrophenol at 412 nm. Paraoxonase activity was determined spectrophotometrically using the same procedure in our previous studies [Ekinci et al., Eur. J. Pharmacol., 617:84-89]. One enzyme unit was defined as the amount of enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of 1 μmol of substrate at 25°C. |
