| Description: | HT1080 cells (as well as other cell types) were plated to confluency in 96-well plates. Cells were exposed to the combination of 10 μM Oligomycin (to block mitochondrial-derived ATP), and the glucose uptake inhibitor compounds for one-hour, after which glycolytically-dervied ATP was measured with the Cell Titer-Glo assay kit (Promega). Dose-response curves of the glucose uptake inhibitor compounds were used to determine the IC50 for GLUT activity. |
