| Description: | Kinase activities were assayed in buffers containing substrate, enzyme, and inhibitor at 37 °C in the presence of 15 uM ATP/ [gamma-32P] ATP. 32P incorporation was measured with a scintillation counter. The GSK-3 beta activity was expressed in picomoles of phosphate incorporated in GS-1 per 20 min or in percentage of maximal activity. The IC50 is the inhibitor concentration at which a 50% of enzyme inhibition occurs. |
