| Description: | Two exemplary compounds, FA44 and FA26, were screened against a panel of CNS receptors, transporters, and ion channels to examine specificity for CLC-2 in the brain. A comprehensive primary binding assay screen was performed through the NIH Psychoactive Drug Screening Program (PDSP) at UNC-Chapel Hill. Secondary or functional assays were performed for compounds showing >50% activity in the primary assay. |
