| Description: | The fluorescence peptide cleavage assay was performed in a 96-well plates in which each reaction mixture contained SNAPtide, BoNT /A (List Biological Laboratories), and the screening compounds. Kinetics of the peptide cleavage was examined for 30 min by using a fluorescence plate reader at excitation and emission wavelengths of 485 and 535 nm, respectively, and IC50 values were obtained by dose-response measurements. |
