| Description: | Assays for PfPFT activity were performed with a PFT-specific scintillation assay (SPA) kit (Amersham Biosciences, Piscataway, NJ). An amount of 1 uM biotinylated lamin B peptide was used. The concentration of [3H]farnesyl pyrophosphate (FPP) was increased beyond manufacturer recommendations to 1 uM. IC50 values were calculated using linear regression analysis of the plots of [3H]FPP prenylation versus concentration of compounds. |
