| Description: | Assays were run in 50 mM HEPES (pH 8.0). A BioTek Synergy H4 microplate sample processor was used. The compounds were incubated with protein (final concentrations of 100 nM for hCAII) for 10 min at 25 °C. A substrate (p-nitrophenylacetate; final concentration of 500 μM) was added, and hCAII-catalyzed cleavage was monitored by the increase in absorbance at 405 nm corresponding to formation of the p-nitrophenolate anion |
